Monster Girl

Alivia was being cute at one of Addison's baseball practices. She and Callie were running around when Alivia decided it was time to become a monster. They were excited to have me take pictures of the monster show.

Kid-isms

When we asked Alivia what was on top of Mt. Ranier, she replied: "Mush. Mush cold wike [s]now."

Liv likes to say GUTS like Ramona does. I told her her guts were her insides, that everyone has them. One night I tickled her guts, and she cried out, "I can feel the seeds in my guts!" So cute; she thinks her guts are like pumpkin gusts therefore she must have pumpkin seeds insider her own guts.

As we are setting up the Nativity, Alivia saw the shepard and shouted, "Mary, Mary with her lamb!"

Addison says that Jesus is a little closer to home on Christmas.

Myles was asking the kids about helping to crack the eggs for our french toast. Liv declared that she knows a lot about eggs and Addison knows 'little bit.' She held up 5 fingers for a lot and 2 fingers for Addi's 'little bit.' Needless to say, she got to crack the eggs!

Alivia has learned to lock her door. Yes, I will be changing the knobs, but for now, I'm forced to use a pin. Yes, we've talked about how she's not supposed to do that, but when does that ever stop a three year old. Yesterday, while I was trying to unlock her door, I said, "Alivia, if you don't unlock your door now, you will lose a toy." She pushed a book underneath the door and said, "You have this book. It in time out." She didn't unlock the door.

I reminded Addison about Jayden's upcoming party at Chuck E. Cheese. I was surprised to see a worried look on his face.
"Mom, I'll go, but I don't want to eat the cake."
"Why not?"
"I don't like cheese cake."

I drove home today right when Addison was walking home from school. As I turned onto our street, I saw a little boy peeing in the road into a drainpipe, pants around his ankles. He heard the car, looked up and grinned. "Mom, that makes the best sound!"
